The Hammond organ, vibraphone, and drums, plus any mix of two more musicians: sax/flute, upright bass, guitar, trumpet, or vocalist. We strongly recommend the pairing of upright bass and sax/flute.
Sound, shaped in the room
Adding our system puts every instrument except drums through one balanced mix, with an engineer shaping it all night. Even coverage from the front table to the back of the bar, and a band that sits underneath conversation instead of on top of it.
Before the first note, and after the last
We typically arrive 1.5 to 2 hours early, to enable us to finish setup and soundcheck a full hour before your event starts. With advance notice, we can set up and soundcheck any time on the day of your event.
Two 15 minute breaks during 3 hour shows. Three 15 minute breaks during 4 hour shows.
We take a maximum of 30 minutes to pack up after a show. If load out needs to wait until the end of your event, we're happy to be flexible with advance notice.
Business casual by default. Happy to adjust to whatever dress code fits your event.
